....walks into a bar.
This one is my dad's favorite joke: A skeleton walks into a bar and yells at the bartender, "Hey! Barkeep! Get me a beer and a mop!" A few other good ones: Two guys walk into a bar. The third guy ducks. An Irishman WALKS out of a bar. A blonde walks into a library and loudly proclaims, &qu...

Re: Please Introduce Yourself Here
Good morning, afternoon, and evening. I apologize for not doing this earlier, I seem to have skipped the introduction and jumped head-first into the debate. My name is Alexander. I do not follow a traditional religion. I found this website and found it intriguing because I devote much of my spare ti...

Re: Baby boys name
If you want to go with a Christian name you might like Demetrius.
Saint Demetrius is the patron saint of hunters.
I think that would be a better middle name though, not first name.

Re: Fossil record
I was bored with school. I failed Anthropology because i found that the teacher was not suited for the job. He was an ancient history major, not an anthropologist. I do not doubt that perhaps Neanderthals could run more quickly than you or I for short burst, but I couldn't sit there and listen to hi...

Re: God and Science don't mix, so don't try.
Ah, Byblos, I just realized why, to me, you seem so pious and so strong in your religion.
You are a Catholic, no?
I am not being condescending. I think you are one of them who can do great things with your faith. It almost brings a tear to my eye to see such devotion.
I admire that.

Re: God and Science don't mix, so don't try.
Thank you for proving my point.
I checked out the PowerPoint above. Pretty profound. You struck a nerve with me when you said "God is the Universe."
I have a very similar belief, that is almost the same, only slightly different.
I think, The Universe is god.

Re: evolution rebuttal
ETERNITY. I liked that you put it in all caps. I thought, I might as well, too.
I don't believe in ETERNITY. I believe all things have an end.
I don't scare that easily.

Re: God and Science don't mix, so don't try.
Even a 3rd grader can tell you that a Chevy Corvette didn't create itself. The make is evidence of a maker. How anyone can look at creation and "scientifically" say, everything came from nothing, is beyond me. Well, a Corvette, you see, has a symbol on it that is as good as a signature. I...

Yes. Back to Medieval times. Back when we were still holding inquisitions, burning people at the stake, and torturing people.

Lmao. That's potency. Not omnipotence.
