Re: Letters from paul
Not all things in the New Testament are inspired by God. The letters of Paul are just that, Letters. Yes he quoted scripture, but, God did not say to Paul, "Sit down and write what I tell you in your letters." I'm sure if Paul, and those others who wrote letters that are in the New Testam...

Re: Letters from paul
You're right, in regards to the Catholic Bible., I have one that was left to me which has come down from generation to generation., It is very big in size and has a lot of artwork, the deluge, the temptation of Christ, the parting of the Red Sea, etc. It has also the apocryphal books, but it has be...

Jesus is Yahweh. http://carm.org/paul-think-jesus-was-god You took this from CRAM. The word LORD is not a name, it is a title; 1Co 8:5 "There are many Gods, and many Lords." Even in England today there are Lords." Do you remember reading of Lord Nelson, a Naval Hero of old England? L...

Re: More facts
And the Word was God. Plain as the nose on your face. Can't be any clearer. The scriptures speak of two paths. Follow yours, I stay to mine. Jesus is my Lord. Father YHWH is my God. God is a title, not a name. Satan is also known as God. He is the God (title) of this system of things. God the Fathe...

Re: Thank you for your comments.
Yes, that Jesus is also God is well-established in Scripture. That the Holy Spirit is also God is clear as well. And so here's the question: If Jesus is also God (and He IS), can one who puts his faith in a Jesus who is not also God, truly be placing his faith IN GOD to save him? I say no, as then ...

Re: Thank you for your comments.
But the Trinity is a tricky subject, I have heard many slightly differing interpretations. The Trinity doctrine itself was introduced by the early church, by vote because of the debate surrounding it. The Catholic Church was founded on the belief of the Trinity. It is not mentioned as such in the b...

Melanie, You haven't been here long enough to understand what's been going on. So let me explain a little. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Show mw one scripture were God the father was created, and I will burn my Bible. Sure, Dominic In the last part of Col 1:15 the Greek text reads - protôtokos paseês ktiseoôs - means 'supreme owner' over all creation' which fits...

The Incomparable Christ 13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both...

Re: More facts
I looked at 1 Corinthians 8:6 6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist. Hmm. Interesting. You should read Colossians 1: 1-15. This explains that Jesus is the son of Go...

I have had dialogue with many on this forum. We do not agreed on many issues. The comments such as troll, lost in my sin, are becoming nothing but attacks. I have been serving father for longer than most of you have been alive. I am not saying any of you are wrong in what you believe…just that we do...
