Re: The Foolishness of Many Non-believers
Wait...How was I cornered with a reference to Hitler? That's got me confused. Because you didn't (don't) bother to address it, you think it's enough to offer a snarky one-word prediction as if it means something. If that's not the case, my apologies. I'll be waiting for a response though. On your v...

Re: It's not easy for homosexuals
I've always thought of celibacy as more an expression of will or intent as opposed to a sexual orientation, one could be gay, straight, bi or asexual and take a vow of celibacy - similarly one could be asexual without ever consciously choosing a celibate lifestyle. ? Um..I wasn't really thinking of...

Re: The Foolishness of Many Non-believers
SS, I'd be interested in your own responses still. *Nods* Yup, as would I. :) Thad, saying "for lots of social, ethical, psychological, physiological and other reasons." You may as well be saying because 1+1 = 2. This isn't really detailing why. You're essentially saying what you believe ...

Re: It's not easy for homosexuals
I want to challenge both Paul and Thad for a minute. Don't have any particular agenda here, just came to my mind. Forget the gay thing for a minute. Let's just assume for a moment that there was a genetic trait for celibacy. Is celibacy then wrong? Does it have benefits in the best interest of the ...

Re: The Foolishness of Many Non-believers
That figures. Didn't expect any less to be perfectly candid. You can't even defend your worldview. The fact that Hitler is a known example does not make an analogy invalid. In fact, I would say that the use of Godwin is in fact becoming its own example of fallacious reasoning. So, take your ball an...

Re: The Foolishness of Many Non-believers
Same goes for Hitler, Pol Pot, etc. If they are just products of their material world, then you can't say that they were 'wrong.' Sorry, no real time to get back to a reply to this...other than, GODWIN ! End of posting. Right, that's the ticket. State the most obvious prediction anyone's ever made ...

Re: The Origin of Race
Let's assume Adam & Eve, the first couple were White , their children were also White , and the subsequent generations were also White. And for one or two thousand years, live somewhere in a country with hot tropical climate all year long and they will eventually become Negroid as your theory s...

Re: It's not easy for homosexuals
. Athenian and Spartan culture were Bisexual, not homosexual. Spartans were required by law to marry. You will NOT find any case of a homosexual group existing beyond a few generations at best. This is common sense and not really sure why you are arguing. From a biological POV, homosexuality is NOT...

Re: It's not easy for homosexuals
Sorry dude but I am not sure how it could be any clearer. Homosexuality is NOT in the best interest of the group/species because they would die out. To that statement I can only, simply can answer 'Twaddle' and 'balderdash'. Just off the top of my head neither the Athenians nor the Spartans were ev...

Re: The Foolishness of Many Non-believers
Many Atheists believe morality is simply something to be shaken off by those who know better. Um...no...many atheists don't believe such. If you don't mind answering, I'd be interested in your response to the following questions which are similar in form: If you don't mind, I';ll also have a go. :)...

To PaulSacramento.
Um...while an interesting comment....it's not actually an answer to my question.
Much cheers to all.

Re: The Origin of Race
Are you saying ,for the sake of clarification, that a group of white people living in a year long hot climate will after a few generations become Negroid or Mongoloid and vice versa could also happen ? Um...basically....assuming a stone age/hunter gatherer level of existence? Then my answer would b...

Re: It's not easy for homosexuals
The issue with homosexuality is the "passion" the comes from those the defend the right of adults to express their sexual inclinations. If we remove the "passion" and "political correctness" of it then what we have left is the simple biological fact that IF homosexuali...
