I'm doing well, loving (and appreciating) life in Scotland.
I've been here six years now, still living with my soulmate Fen.
I have grown, a lot, I rarely drink now. I'm up early, busy, and sleeping well
I achieved a life long dream 6 months ago by finally getting my own horse!
She is a beautiful Knabstrupper cross mare, 6 years old. She's smart, responsive and opinionated and we've bonded incredibly. It is everything I ever wanted, I am very blessed.

I have a small circle of friends who see me as "Mama Wolf" (I look after a husky) and describe this person I always wanted to be. I have found my place.
I am surrounded by animals, and nature, every day and I learn something from the universe and my place in it.

I'm having some very interesting discussions about how the world is and how lost humanity is.

I've been through a lot, been to the absolute depths and my mum is in really bad shape with her Alzheimers yet I still feel incredibly blessed, I feel settled, I feel peace. Everything is as it should be. Balanced.

Hello, Annette - long time no hear!

G&S has morphed more into a information-sharing site explaining aspects of the Bible, its evidences, Christianity and faith in Jesus. I hope you are hanging tight to your faith in the Messiah! Discussions are much more random nowadays, as people have gone to places like Reddit or Youtube. And with most on their smartphones, they don't really spend time typing lengthy exchanges. So, now it's really an outreach to the world about faith and I have been the owner for about five years now. But I still occasionally hear from the odd person from years gone by.

I'm glad to hear about your Knabstrupper - I'm assuming she's part Appaloosa? I used to really be into horses and riding, but I'm not into being thrown. I used to ride a lot of difficult to manage horses, loved flying like the wind. I have acreage for horses, but I also know they are lots of work. My oldest son might get some - so there's that possibility. My understanding is your breed is pretty laid back? I sure don't want to deal with anymore high-strung stallions! I so would like to visit Scotland - it's where all my dad's family came from - the northern Highlands. My son was there this summer.

Hope all is well - blessings to you!

Feel free to email me....

My faith is still strong, just private and quiet,

Libby, my mare, Yeah, she has spots (her colouring on her papers is leopard spot) She has Africa on her shoulder, her markings are absolutely stunning. I'll see if I can upload a pic, or I can try and send one in pm or email.
She's a pretty sharp, opinionated mare but she's responsive, clever and we've bonded well so far.

She was broken in at 4, she's 6 now, so I'm aiming to get on her next spring all being well.
I'm taking a gamble because she is so switched on but if I get her trust, well she's a mare, she'll give me everything.

I shall keep in touch.
Blessings y@};-

Cool, Annette! I'm kind of jealous, as I've always wanted to own a horse. But I sure don't want to deal with one potentially spooking or having a bad fall. I'm also nervous about walking behind a horse and getting kicked. I was once racing on horseback with about three other guys on a very long dirt road - all male horses. One was dominate and the others would not stop as long as he was galloping. And as we got closer and closer to a highway full of speeding cars, I almost had a heart attack as they all finally pulled up within about 30 feet of it. But how exhilarating that is! By all means PM me the photo!
