There are several key views on their being a Rapture of Christ's Church. AND this was not a clearly defined belief until MUCH later in Church history. So, the questions are: Does Scripture support the belief? Can it be clearly understood? Why didn't the Apostles clearly explain such an important event? Why did hundreds of years pass before the idea began to gain serious traction within Christiandom? IF a Rapture is to occur - WHICH version of it should we embrace? At least to me, it seems that each view has serious challenges, as it appears there is key information and clarity that we either haven't yet been given OR that we can't presently / accurately understand the specifics of. In fact, Dr. Michael Heiser has written extensively on how those supporting whichever version of a Rapture (pre-Trib, mid-Trib, post-Trib, etc.) must finesse Scriptural passages to make them fit whatever particular version one buys into. And if one gets a key point wrong, then the accuracy of their Rapture version / contention would thus fall apart. One thing is certain, Jesus said that He WILL return AND that NO one can know the timing of His return. And yet, so many are trying hard to decipher all of that.
