This short video (linked below) gives a good overview of what the Dead Sea Scrolls are, what they contain, who wrote them, and why they are so historically important. But most importantly, especially for Christians and those wondering whether today's modern Bibles actually contain the Old Testament's original, God-inspired writings, the scrolls provide an unparalleled validation that our modern Bibles do indeed contain the originals' contents that God inspired to write down! So, as Jesus validates for us that the ENTIRE of Old Testament to be God-given Scripture (see here: https://www.blueletterbible.org/Comm/st ... tament.cfm), we can know precisely the contents it include then - and NOW!

Discovered by complete chance, the first seven Dead Sea Scrolls were found by Bedouin, in 1947, in a cave. Later, many more were found, in 11 different caves. Certainly, miraculously preserved, these manuscripts reveal that we can well know the contents of the Hebrew Bible of Jesus in the first century. These astonishing ancient manuscripts contain around 200 copies of the Old Testament books and provide the oldest copies of Biblical texts in the world!
