Above is a great, short explanation of Jesus' famous words on the Cross: Matthew 27:46:

"And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, 'Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?' That is to say, 'My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?'"

So, the question of many is, as Jesus was also fully God, and as the Trinity is ONE God, why would Jesus have felt abandoned?

There are a couple of views on this.
One is that, at that moment ( and only that moment), as Jesus bore the full weight of mankind's sins, the bond between Father and Son was "strained" and that Jesus truly felt alone.
The other is that Jesus is quoting the "suffering servant" from Isiah for the benefit of those witnessing his death.
