Just deleted a post from rick that was extremely poor taste and insulting...

This is just an article folks can read and decide for him or herself if it a good or bad thing to do.

It's funny how you post about the tactics of the left, yet when YOU find a joke insulting, it's suddenly ok to be anti free speech.

Is there a word for that?

British scientists granted permission to genetically modify human embryos

If it helps get rid of diseases, abnormalities, I'm all for it. The other side of the coin is that one can design and build "a master race"

The other weird issue is that of freezing the embryos. Is it considered abortion if you leave them in the fridge for a few thousand years ?

I'm imagining the wealth inequality of today paired with high-level genetic manipulation to create billionaire oligarchs with 250 year lifespans. It's horrifying, actually.

This is madness, we don't know nearly enough about DNA to go messing about in there.
We might think we are doing something positive for the baby, and instead create cancer, or any number of other messes.

CRISPR DNA editing could do some serious genetic damage, study says

The Mysterious ‘Jumping Gene’ That Appears 500,000 Times in Human DNA
Its segments make up 17 percent of our genome, but scientists are only just starting to understand what it does.

I agree with most of what's been said here. We really don't know what we're doing when it comes to genetically modifying human DNA. We're much better off leaving DNA manipulation to the fallen angels. The worst thing that could happen with that, is a giant race of evil, hybrid people.

And with DNA manipulation, the initial results may seem benign or encouraging - but what of successive generations? y:-?

You're not lying. There's reasons why humanity rarely lives over a century.
Btw, ppl have been trying to bring back Neanderthal humans via a de-extinction method, which all this GMO talk of humans reminded me of this.

But stuff like this would raise ethical concerns.

I'm thinking "The Beast" is called "The Beast" because his genetics is spliced with animal DNA.
