I disapprove of non-vegetarian spiders.

Dang, K, if the spiders are that ferocious, WHAT, pray tell, is eating the spiders, etc?

Guess every area has it's threatening species.

In SC, we have exactly these dangerous animals:

Rattlesnakes: Three types - Canebrake, Pygmy, and Diamondback (Can kill):

Copperhead (deaths are rare, but will make you VERY sick):

Cottonmouth (Can kill):

Coral Snake (Can kill):

Alligator (Can kill):

Black Widow Spider (Deaths rare - but can make you very sick):
Image

Brown Recluse Spider (Deaths rare - but can make you very sick, will toxin will destroy flesh):
Image

Black Bear (Deaths are very rare, but have occurred):
Image

Wild Dogs (Feral dogs are common in some remote areas - particularly packs can be very dangerous):
Image

Wild Hogs (Deaths are very rare, but they can do major physical harm - and they can be huge - 400 lbs and up)

I'd probably let a Lynx in my house and regret it later lol. If you're cold, they're cold.

Actually,

They are found on the east coast. I ran into one here in Florida. He told me that he migrated east from California, because the cost of living was too much there. Rats and mice were too expensive.

I'd poo poo in my pants if I ran into one of those guys. I don't like "hot" snakes, although back during my zoological days, I owned a couple of snakes - a King snake and a Red-Tailed Boa. I've held large pythons. But I'm probably more wary of copperheads, as they are so abundant where I live. Found three sheds in my garage - a mother and two newborns - that ain't good!
