Any sources to suppoet Daniel prophecies?

Post by somebodyelse »

Any sources to support Daniel's prophecies were predicted before their actual occurrence? Also what do you think about this article/website?

I'm trying to explain to my friend how the book of daniel predicted events before they occured, but he's like they just got a lucky guess or wrote after they occured.

The only thing I could really find to support Daniel was this video below.

Also recently learned that daniel predicted the rise of Alexander the great and his fall. Supposedly too Alexander the Great met a high-ranking Jewish individual and he made a sacrifice to God in a temple after receiving scripture that predicted this meeting.

That is a common tactic for those who doubt bible prophecy,to try and say the bible was changed to make it a fulfilled prophecy. But this is not true as the OT goes back thousands of years and the Jews have never changed it and still observe the Jewish feast days that goes all the way back to Moses and God bringing the Jews out of Egypt and in the desert, the red Sea crossing, etc. If you want real good biblical prophecy teaching I highly recommend you look into Perry Stone's bible prophecy teachings,I consider him the best one out the and do not disagree much about his teachings.

Perry Stone teaches about how Daniel prophecied by God about Alexander the great.
Hebrews 12:2-3 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

2nd Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of this glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God,should shine unto them.

OK after reading through your first link it is totally Wrong because you cannot fully understand the book of Revelations without the book of Daniel, they go together and compliment each other also Jesus mentions Daniel.

And that, brothers and sisters, is the kind of foolishness you get people who insist on denying biblical theism. A good illustration of any as the length people will go to avoid acknowledging basic truths.
