I remember it being posted not long ago about Christmas being tossed aside (can't find the thread now). Thought this might interest some as it did me:
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Don Feder and I'm the president of Jews Against Anti-Christian Defamation. Our organization was founded to provide a Jewish response to anti-Christian bias in the news media, entertainment, government and the culture.

Here in England Christmas is now referred to as the Winter Festival in some places and the Nativity has been banned from most primary schools.

It makes me very sad.

Yes, a lot of the eastern countries have alot of godless people, regular people like you and me, and they decide to make their OWN rules so more historic holidays are banned. It's a pity. Do you guys over there have the official Darwin Day? Time will tell, it might get worse, it might not. It applies for the world I guess.

i found it rather cool that the jewish people are standing up for us. most jews i meet are rude, (though i have jewish friends that arnt), they usually call Christians Heritics and stuff, but its cool to see kind hearted ones that are sympathetic, even if they dont believe in Christ as the Messiah.
