all im really sure about is the NT. all of these are the 'traditional' authors, some people may differ.
Matt, Mark, Luke, and John were all written by the people they are named after.
Acts was written by the same guy as the Gospel of Luke.
Everything from Romans to Philemon was written by Paul.
Hebrews is the only anonomous work in the NT, although some say Paul wrote it.
James was written by James, a brother of Jesus.
1 & 2 Peter were written by Peter.
1-3 John were written by the same guy who wrote the Gospel of John.
Jude was written by Jude, another brother of Jesus.
Revelation was written by John again.
The OT is a bit more fuzzy. the first five are traditonally attributed to Moses. other than that im really not sure.

was Revelation really written by John the Apostle??

I heard John of Patmos (writer of Revelation) may have been a different person than John the Apostle, and John the Evangelist was a completely different person as well...

John the Apostle was the one that went to Patmos, which was an island prison, and yes he was the one that wrote Revelation...and John the Baptist was beheaded years before.
