Names that people know:
Richard Dawkins
Sam Harris
Daniel Dennet
PZ Meyers
Pretty much anyone that calls themselves "humanists".
Pretty much anyone that posts on Atheist blog's and websites such as http://freethoughtblogs.com/pharyngula/
Pretty much anyone that thinks religion is the cause of everything bad.
Pretty much anyone that is a militant atheist.
I can go on...

Evidence that they consider it a "badge of honour"?

Evidence that anyone who is not actually insane really thinks religion is the
"cause of everything bad"?

Are there Really people who are Truly Ignorant Of Christianity?!
Have you read some of the things that some atheists post against Christianity?
Yes, many people are ignorant of Christianity.
Do you think that everyone in Seychelles knows Christ?
Or Burkina Faso?
You think that every 6 year old Child in Kazakhstan knows Christ?
How about 16 year old kids in Benin?

My point is that the physical probability of the TRUE Gospel reaching everyone is very slim, though it gets less and less as times go by.
God KNOWS who are His, even those that don't know Him yet.

You emphasized the 'TRUE' Gospel reaching everyone -- so -- define TRUE Gospel, first.

You are Also suggesting that God is not powerful enough to have the Gospel reach each and every person. Each and every one of us have neighbors / friends etc. who we Can share the TRUE Gospel with and They - in turn - reach Others.

God lays it on the hearts of men and women to go to all sorts of countries / communities to share the TRUE Gospel of salvation. My sister and her husband were two of them -- for 40 years they were in Brazil starting churches. One of their kids felt led to go to Alaska as a missionary --she married a guy from Bible college and they have been there ever since.

I'm not familiar with any of the areas you've mentioned --but 'every six year old' in that area would be taught by their parent or whom ever was taking care of them. And 16 yr old kids? how about neighbors and school friends / teachers , etc who Are believers and share with them.

And very small children -- maybe the 6 yr olds -- do they understand right from wrong? If not -- God takes care of them when they would die.

Those who are Really concerned about the ignorance of Christianity amongst a group of people -- need to go To those very people and Share -- so that they will no longer Be ignorant of it.

Yes, but what about those groups that add to the gospel with conditions, like the JW's for example.

A person who believes that 'intellectualism' is synonymous with 'no need for a 'god' / God' -- that the ToE has all the answers so what more is Needed. That mind-set is what I call a "badge of honor". That a person who is 'intellectually honest' will concede that Apparently they are not knowledgeable enough in supportive sciences to make a truly informed decision regarding Tof E and that it's okay to admit to THAT Rather than continue in their misguided / eroneous beliefs. And to purposely Continue in those erroneous beliefs shows just how stubborn people Can Be.

So -- That would be a 'badge of honor" for an atheist. "Intellectual honor'.

IF there are such people, I never have run across one, and you certainly misread me if you think that is how i think. Those are the thoughts of a very shallow stupid person.

That a person who is 'intellectually honest' will concede that Apparently they are not knowledgeable enough in supportive sciences to make a truly informed decision regarding Tof E and that it's okay to admit to THAT Rather than continue in their misguided / eroneous beliefs.

You might want to re write that, I dont really understand it.

I have said that it is impossible to be a well informed creationist, and still be intellectually honest.

I have never heard anyone offer a way to show ToE is false the is not a misrepresentation, strawman, falsehood, half truth, or something of the sort.

This is either done out of ignorance, or dishonesty.

No scientist on earth has ever come up with a way to show it is false; claims
that one can show it is have never turned out.

Take all that as you will.
And to purposely Continue in those erroneous beliefs shows just how stubborn people Can Be.
Not that I endorse that as being my attitude, but, lets turn it around.

What would you call it?

So -- That would be a 'badge of honor" for an atheist. "Intellectual honor'.
I never heard of "intellectual honour".

Intellectualism knows no religious boundaries that I am aware of.

I Kinda think it is good to use the brain.

Intellectual honesty is a problem everyone has, it being the case that pure objectivity is impossible.

It is a highest value in any research to strive for objectivity.

However, not everyone even makes an effort to be objective, far from it; religious and political ideologs make it a badge of honour to hold fast the faith absolutely regardless.

My example of Dr K Weiss is a type specimen for that. He WILL go with what
the Bible SEEMS (to him) to say, and to hell, you know, with any evidence that might show he is mistaken.

I think in general it is better to talk to people who are actually present, and see what their views are, rather than pick out ones not present, probably extremists of some sort that none of us know or care about, and present them as typical or representative of 'atheists", or, "Christians".

There are rich picking for anyone who wants to trot out nominal or otherwise self professing Christians and their views, to be held up for LolL. Ya know?
