The early earth was less hostile than previously thought.This would explain how a former world existed that perished.

Evidence for life that existed in the former world until it perished.Bacteria in Australia,notice nothing that could have evolved into this bacteria before it,this is like trilobites fully formed with eyes,digestive system,nervous system fully formed suddenly even though they believe it evolved.Fullly formed bacteria fossils.They are looking at the bacteria from the wrong perspective because it is simply life that existed in the former world billions of years ago and has nothing to do with evolution.

2nd Peter 3:5-6 "For this they willingly are ignorant of,that by the word of God the heavens were of old,and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:Whereby the world that then was,being overflowed with water perished."

Reading between the lines.If I read this and ignore the evolution stuff the evidence fits in with the Gap theory quite nicely.There is no real contradictions at all between the Holy Bible and scientific discoveries they just look at it with the belief life evolves and interpret it that way.

Genesis 1:7-8"And God made the firmament,and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament:and it was so.And God called the firmament heaven.And the evening and the morning were the second day."

Peter tells us both the heavens and earth that were of old were flooded which caused the former world to perish but and we see the heavens and earth are flooded in Genesis 1:2 so much water that God has to remove water off the earth on the second day.Could this be the water God removed off the earth and put in outer space above the firmament?

150,000 years ago?It is pre-flood but not Noah's flood,it was pre-Lucifer's flood in which both the heavens and the earth was flooded causing the sun light to be blocked out which caused all life to die and the earth to freeze,which is exactly what we see in Genesis1:2.Read 2nd Peter 3:5-7, and although most say it is referring to Noah's flood?

It isn't because both the heavens and the earth were flooded in this flood Peter is describing,it is pointing to Genesis 1 not Noah's flood,only the earth was flooded in Noah's flood and all living life did not perish in Noah's flood, also read Genesis 9:8-16 ,and we know not all flesh was destroyed in Noah's flood,so this is pointing to a flood that did destroy all flesh too and this is a promise that God will never pour out judgment again that causes all flesh to die.

Secular science sees all of the fossils and evidence of death and extinction in this earth and we can see that there was different life in the former world than the life in this world and there is no reason to deny this evidence they've found and how old it is.

This world did not end or perish in Noah's flood,this world has went on since Adam and Eve but the former world perished and the evidence in the earth confirms it.Check out 2nd Peter 3:4 because if you teach all things have gone on since the beginning of the creation? You are wrong and yet YEC and evolution teach this and the evidence in the earth confirms it has'nt gone on from the beginning of the creation,science keeps it going though because they believe life evolves so they must always make sure some life survives extinction events so that it can evolve but they have no evidence that demonstrates life evolves and are wrong too.
