Yeah...I was typing my OP and for the life of me I couldn't remember that word...Certianly not really practiced today but can't certainly rule it out. ...I'm sure it's been n the Jerry Springer show already

Yeah...if we cut the homosexuals slack, pretty soon other groups and practices will want to be accepted as "okay." Polygamy is a good example. Another is incest. Should these become "rights" as well? Of course, even if gay marriage (and things that could possibly follow) is eventually allowed, Paul's words still will ring true:

"Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything. (I Cor. 6:12, NIV)
