Does God still do miracles today?

Does God still do miracles today? Absolutely! But are they constant and common? No! Even in the Bible, there are long periods of time where no miracles are recorded. But when God’s judges, prophets and apostles were active and interacting, teaching, admonishing, and prophesying to ancient Israel and those around them – those were the times when we read of great miracles occurring in Scripture. And miracles especially show up during the ministry of Jesus, as He was revealing His power and pointing to exactly WHO He was / is (GOD! / The long prophesied Messiah). But the miracles in Scripture were NEVER meant as “magic tricks” – as they were always tied to key spiritual lessons and understandings and were also used to save people from terrible circumstances and used to build their faith in Him and His words. God wants people to know that He is RELIABLE, trustworthy, and all-powerful!

Again, back to the original question: Does God do miracles today?

Here are some excellent videos about miracles:

But God doesn’t always do miracles or heal sick people praying for them – so, what about those?
Why?
