Yes, I watched the talk by this Catholic priest and agree that he says it well. Although difficult, it is important to remember Matthew 5:11-12 about the importance of accepting persecution for the truth if need be, like the person who lost their job for standing up for the truth.
I am hoping that this may turn around in the near future as those who have been convinced that they need surgery as children realize later in life that it is not what they really needed. It is beginning to happen even now. It is sad to say that this is what it will probably take, but I think that the lawsuits that will follow will cause doctors who do such surgeries to become more cautious about doing such surgery on children. A lot of damage will be done by then, however.
