Why aren't more women interested in...

...in apologetics? Here, national author and speaker Natasha Crain asks the question:

"Why aren't more women interested in apologetics?"

https://www.str.org/blog/why-arent-more ... pologetics

Natasha is the author of two apologetics books for parents: Talking with Your Kids about God (2017) and Keeping Your Kids on God’s Side (2016). She has an MBA from UCLA and a certificate in Christian apologetics from Biola University.

So, why AREN'T they???

So, why AREN'T they???
Who has time, with all those womanly duties?

It could have to do with the division of labor common to many religions and cults alike. When Witnesses or Mormons come to my door, they are often women. When these women think I’m interested, they promise to return with someone who is able to answer my questions. The Big Guns who return are always men.

Men are just better at apologetics because we don’t mind a fight or a vigorous discussion. Women have other qualities.

Of course, Hana, there are people who learned apologetics at a school or majored in it - people who are scholars, teachers, or those that teach it full-time. But apologetics is merely a term that refers to defending and explaining the Gospel of Christ as truth to others, and against false beliefs or assertions that contradict Scripture - it's what the Christians here on G&S regularly engage in - even if they don't realize it! And did you know that we are COMMANDED by Scripture to take up the basics of apologetics??? https://normangeisler.com/an-apologetic ... ologetics/ Because they are a major tool that equips the Church for its collective "Great Commission" that God gave to ALL Christians.

For people who do not know the basics or how to start using apologetics - if you don't know how to have natural, effectively used by God conversations (just like Jesus, Paul, and the apostles engaged in) - but geared to the sensibilities of our modern society, I would highly suggest you immediately get this book! As it will teach you how to have non-threatening but effective, relational conversations with unbelievers from all kinds of backgrounds, and those struggling with false beliefs, hurt, anger:

Same reason there aren't more female mathematicians, engineers and philosophers.

Your grammar is terrible. You may want to rethink that book writing thing.

I couldn't agree more! A woman's place is in the kitchen!

That's because MOST chefs are men! Otherwise they would be called "chefetts!"
