Reminds me of my kid's mobile. I turned off the data service, and the apps took control of the phone and switched data service back on and started downloading stuff

Turning off geolocation on your phone doesn't help much either.....https://www.techrepublic.com/article/yo ... urned-off/

"Smartphones can still be tracked even if location services and GPS are turned off, according to Princeton University researchers. ... The technique, called PinMe, shows it is possible to track a location even if the location services, GPS, and Wi-Fi are turned off."

Google records your location even when you tell it not to ......
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/ ... one-mobile

Not to mention the tracking from phone towers, even when there is no sim in the phone.......

GPS Can spy on you even when the phone is turned off.....

If your a private type of person, it would be best to switch the phone off and remove the battery :-)

Good news: The chips in the uniforms can withstand 500 wash cycles.

Bad news: The uniforms themselves, were made with cheap material in a Chinese sweat shop, and will disintegrate after 5 washes.
