Is Alex Jones out of his mind?

Post by RickD »

I really hope Alex Jones doesn't own any guns. This guy seems really unstable.

He's desperate to stay relevant now that all the major social media outlets have banned him (as of today he's off Twitter), so he's acting out. I kind of love it. The YouTube ban especially delights me - that cost him a huge revenue stream.

What Ed said i.e., cost him a huge revenue stream. People lose the plot and kill for less than when others take their livelihood. It wouldn't suprise me if he stormed through Silicon Valley targeting Google and claiming its a justified war for freedom. I wonder what army he could muster given his following.

Sadly, he's surrounded by a bunch of noddies. No one dares interrupt when he rants on his show, even his closest. They just let him say his piece no matter how ridiculous, even Watson who I'd expect more from. He has no serious checking by anyone close. His ex-wife probably tried, and couldn't take his ranting. It's just not healthy where he is at, and my difference with Ed, is that I find it sad when people become so seething and trapped in their own minds.

He's a perfect example of an end-product of people who let politics dominate their lifes too much. I've seen it with Socialists (in my own family), but he's an example on the right.

I don't think any of it is real. He's playing a character to sell supplements and collect YouTube ad revenue.

I'm surprised Rubio hadn't heard of him. ;) Rubio handled it all poorly and didn't come out looking great.

Marco's not a real smooth guy. Pretending not to know Jones was an unfortunate move, and then transitioning from deer in the headlights to Senate tough guy just made it sadder. Oh well...
