Sadly, guess he knows the truth NOW.

Rather amazes me how so many brilliant people miss the obvious about the need for a Creator.

The ironic thing is that Hawking's work regarding the "Big Bang" provides some of the most compelling scientific evidence for the existence of a Creator.
