No part of the statement "calls for governmental, societal, or even religious intervention against those who disagree with the missive." Quoted from last part of the article cited.

Ugh. That blinknight guy in the comments section is repulsive. He is most of the reason I no longer comment on the blaze, no way to ignore paid-trolls. And he is still there after 5 years which is incredible. He must surely know one of the writers or admins.

What makes you think that he's paid? Or that he's a troll? I read a few of his comments and as far as I can tell he's you if you were an atheist.
If you're accustomed to privilege equality may feel like oppression.

Before you ask why ask if.

The ideal subject of totalitarian rule is not the convinced Nazi or the convinced Communist, but people for whom the distinction between fact and fiction and the distinction between true and false no longer exist.
