Ok, ok. What the name of the user group should be?

I think people like Nessa here are good for our community. J's concern regarding apologetics seems sincere to me though ill-worded.

the Thing on the ice got them tonight.

Ok. I created the new group named Registered users - no idle talk. This group will not see the Friendly Idle Talk forum at all.
Jlay, do you wish to be in this group?

Seriously,

How difficult is it to scan over the list of active topics, and just bypass the ones that don't interest you.

You're avatar is kind of the expression I pictured on your face when you wrote that. :P

Another suggestion since this thread is still open.. :P

There will be Christians on here who aren't great at apologetics... :gimmeattention:... and I think there should be extra grace for these people.
Even something added to the rules and regulations..

Or the 'not so great' apologists will not have any motivation to join in discussions and learn.

I'm aware that to some more 'seasoned' apologists... that they will be doing this alot during these discussions... y#-o and therefore might be tempted to do this :lalala: or this :walkman:
but the 'not so great' apologists will be also doing this y:-/ and this :brick: alot and feeling  and eventually doing this :censored: cos they become y~:>

What do you think? y>:D<

Edit: I bring this up because i see the tone that is in alot of the apologetic discussions and although it may be appropriate (though at times i wonder...) for the more seasoned apologists.... it would personally drive me away.. :moped:

Nessa,

I've found that the best way to approach topics that I'm not experienced in, such as apologetics, just post in a humble manner. Come across as someone who is sincerely trying to learn, and the more knowledgable apologists here will be patient with you.

In fact, I've found that in whatever topic I'm trying to learn about, if I'm sincerely trying to learn, people go out of their way to help.

A-net,

That's simply unacceptable. You need to rewrite your post. Get to it. Time's a wastin!
