So how would you know if something existed outside of the capacity of the human brain?
Good question...I don't know how to answer that.
If there was some sort of link provided for knowing it, between the Maker and the human, then that would be the only way.
But isn't it unscientific to say that only what we can grasp or fathom or perceive is all that there is?
Take for instance the newborn child does not really recognize its parents, it may know the warmth of mum, but it can't tell what you do for a job, or even who you are. Does that mean you don't exist?

I know what you mean and I think were getting into the Russells teapot argument, not sure if your familiar with it. Wikipedia it.

Maybe it is, but if we used that method there would be an infinite amount of things you could claim existed outside of what we can grasp or perceive, but you'd have no good reason or no grounds to convince others that they should believe any of them actually exist..

By the same token since one cannot see logic they ought not use then. There goes any rational argument anyone has ever made.
Let us proclaim the mystery of our faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.
Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

It's just your imagination, you can't see pain, it must not exist. Come to think of it neither does your imagination.

Your outward profession of having put on Christ, has as yet to put off Plato from your heart!

The photo isn't of melanie but of her sister Melissa. Melanie weighs 400 pounds and has a cigarette permanently dangling from her mouth. I thought you should be told the truth.

If they had a social gospel in the days of the prodigal son, somebody would have given him a bed and a sandwich and he never would have gone home.
