Our knowledge of something, or lack there of, has NOTHING to do with that something.
Paul, I know what you were saying. I was just teasing you.

Or does it? Certainly that would be the intuitive approach but how do we prove this? It seems we must have faith in the persistent and uniform nature of the universe.

Faith is all we have.
We have faith that the sun will "rise" tomorrow, but we don't know that for sure ( and one day it won't).

Yes, twinc. God exists, and He wasn't created.

If we assume that God exists, and that He is omniscient, then everything else that exists was thought of. 8)
"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces." Matthew 7:6

"For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse." Romans 1:20
