Speaking of lying for God,

I saw The Zookeeper's Wife last night. It was based on the true story of a WWII family in Poland, that worked at a zoo. They sheltered hundreds of polish Jews, and saved them from the Nazi death camps. They lied to the Nazis, in order to save the lives of hundreds.
John 5:24
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
