I'd be careful about such sites-it barely looks like a scientific site for biology for instance.
Two, the Sima de los Heous or however you spell it is a "burial" or deposit of people that can be genetically dated. They go 200,000 years before that above. https://www.eva.mpg.de/documents/Nature ... 259387.pdf
Now granted these ain't modern humans, but a variant of archaic human either thought to be Denisovan or Heidelberg/early Neanderthal in origin, but possibly all variants of Homo sapiens (or different human species-species is a shaky term).

If this was true, then yes it'd be a huge factor in the evolution v creation controversy, and supporting the idea that the earth is not millions of years old.

But we know that elemental dating is rather accurate, and from that we get fossils that are millions and billions of years old.

The site, in this case, is irrelevant, as this was a widely reported study. And it wasn't generated by young earth types, but scientists who were shocked by the findings. They also aren't asserting life didn't exist before or that ALL life was this recent, with about 10% of it far older. Reasons to Believe has responded to it - I'll try to find the link.

It was also reported by Fox News today: https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/did-a-m ... am-and-eve
