human/ape similarity
Why'd God make us similar to apes? This is directed to those who accept we came from apes and those who don't.

Re: human/ape similarity
So similar, yet so very different.
1 Corinthians 1:9
9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

We did NOT come from apes.thatkidakayoungguy wrote:Why'd God make us similar to apes? This is directed to those who accept we came from apes and those who don't.
Apes and humans share a common ancestor.
Same building blocks, that's all.

Re: human/ape similarity
I remember now that we had a primate ancestor that apes and hominids branched off of, but then why does everyone think we did? I see a lot of people say we came from chimps.PaulSacramento wrote:We did NOT come from apes.thatkidakayoungguy wrote:Why'd God make us similar to apes? Re: human/ape similarity
A question is sometime answered best with a question back, especially since we do not know "the mind" of God.thatkidakayoungguy wrote:Why'd God make us similar to apes? This is directed to those who accept we came from apes and those who don't.
Why, did Jesus change water into wine. Read John 2:1-11. Jesus requested water pots all be filled with water. Then the water within was transformed into wine. Why didn't Jesus just fill the water pots with wine, but instead chose to change the water into wine?
If I'm to attempt answering your question, we're all physical beings, all breath, all die and return to dust. All life in this world we live is physical, and as such comprised of the same building blocks found across all physical life. Perhaps God chose to "add to" what was there, rather than simply re-create the wheel from scratch.

Re: human/ape similarity
Human ERVs is good evidence that we share in same ancestral substance. Genomic comparisons, also reveal a lot of same code, for example, as per the other thread with our "99%" DNA similarity with chimps. While, we might downplay such (given it is overplayed by evolutionary proponents), the fact is there are heck of a lot of crossover with sequences in our genetics. Which is strong circumstantial evidence that we inherited genetic code from a common ancestor (akin to DNA tests confirming one's mother or father).thatkidakayoungguy wrote:I remember now that we had a primate ancestor that apes and hominids branched off of, but then why does everyone think we did? Those stupid people came from apes. The rest of us descended from humans.PaulSacramento wrote:Yeah well, people are stupid.thatkidakayoungguy wrote:I remember now that we had a primate ancestor that apes and hominids branched off of, but then why does everyone think we did? You are being kind.thatkidakayoungguy wrote:I'd say more ignorant.PaulSacramento wrote: Yeah well, people are stupid.
Ignorant people are those that don't KNOW the facts.
Stupid people are those that THINK they know but are to lazy and stupid to actually find out and repeat crap they hear.
