The thing is that our sinfulness Will kill us. All those people who died in the flood had Ample warning by God's messenger that unless they repented they Would die. But if they Repented -- there was an ark waiting for them. It was Their choice -- acknowledge their sinfulness, repent of it. God Provided an escape from the flood water -- they laughed at it.
All the innocent babies' that die at the hand of People -- is sickening. People have a choice to bring a baby into this world or not. Don't have sex because that's the cause of pregnancy / it's a conscience decision of two people.
Just saw your other response --- 'second two lines in particular' -- you'll need to be more specific, please.
You are not supposed, by me, to do other than as suits you.
Im as against abortion as ever you could be, tho how that even
comes up is a bit obscure.
If you choose to believe a god directed such a flood as the bible
describes, you do. Im guessing it best not to speak of it
more, our minds are not on compatible wavelengths.

May I ask what your religious / belief back ground Is? You state that you are not Christian - - that leaves a lot of ground Not covered.

Grew up in Hong Kong, in a non religious family.
Picked up a lot of Buddhist and Christian ideas along the way.

Flood-believers separate themselves from those who dont like to see
the Christian faith dismissed as being a collection of childish superstitions.

For the rest of us who don't believe in a global flood, are you saying that a man who was crucified, died, and was resurrected on the third day after he died, IS NOT A childish superstition? Or a man who walked on water, turned water into wine, and healed the sick and lame, is not childish superstition?

Audie is the master at parodying (butchering?
English and Western thought - and often, hilariously so. Unfortunately, my Chinese stops at Confucius, or chow mein and moo goo gai pan - which are probably not even terms used in China restaurants.
But I hope she does realize how much we care about her around here, about her destiny, whatever she believes, if only (and hopefully) for just the time being.
