That makes me feel sooooo much better!

Maybe that's why it takes Two to make life go round with so much fun in the process. Ya know, men and women together. Can be such an enriching experience for both.

Actually it's God's Word talking. Read all about it.

So - Audie -- what 'on being' would you like to discuss. I like good, thought-provoking conversation.

All sounds Star Trek-ish to me...
Star Trek: This Side of Paradise
From http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0708483/quotes

Dr. McCoy: Well, that's the second time man's been thrown out of paradise.

Captain James T. Kirk: No, no, Bones, this time we walked out on our own. Maybe we weren't meant for paradise. Maybe we were meant to fight our way through, struggle, claw our way up, scratch for every inch of the way. Maybe we can't stroll to the music of the lute. We must march to the sound of drums.

This is an amusing quote from the TV Series too
Spock: I've never understood the female capacity to avoid a direct answer to any question.

Sorry to see you be so shallowly dismissive of something very worthwhile.
You sure that is how you want to treat a gift?
Actually No Audie...

Not dismissive at all.

Using illustration that "On Being" is merely a Philosophical show that stresses human greatness and justification just as Captain Kirk's character did in the old Star Trek TV show.

However, the writers used far less words than the On Being show does...

Nothing new Audie - that is all.

... after all are you not following the beat of the drum of some sort of ism???

If you somehow did not get the idea that it is a weekly program, with a wide variety of
notable people appearing as guests, that is an example of shallow / dismissive right there.

Im sorry I brought it up in the first place,, seeing how its been received.

I've had the impression that you want to talk about various philosophical topics such as are on "On Being'. Or have I misunderstood.

Yes we all did...

...even when a person can watch/hear - On Being - anytime, day of the week, it is still not a weekly show if someone only wants to tap in once a week!

I probably won't listen myself, but I'll be glad to respond to comments made on 'here'.

There Is a series called 'Alone' on the History channel tonight. One of the 10 , now 9 people is Dave McIntyre -- I know him. He's a nephew-in-law. Except they are divorced. That's on Direct TV
