Is it age or outlook?
I can't stand these videos on serious topics (unlike TV shows or movies). These are so much easier for me to comprehend in printed form. I can go at my own pace; pausing to reread or to try to understand something or skim over familiar parts. The video fomat adds almost nothing to the presentation.

Already watched Gilder. Fun stuff. And sandy, there is a link to an article by him, and though the video and the article aren't identical...I think (as far as I remember, havent' watched the video recently so can only guess) that he's talking on the same lines.
