Did anyone at the end notice the little Shakespearean “Love Square”? Poe was totally wanting to have some scandalous, Disney-friendly hand holding with Rey
Rey x Poe or Fin or Ben
Fin x Rose or Rey
Actually that’s more of a love pentagon. Drama!

Paul, Paul, Paul,
One doesn't simply "end up" gay.
Besides,
C3PO is the token gay character of Star Wars.

The whole cast X The whole cast
Or the whole cast X Rey since she’s turning into a little strumpet

I noticed it too. I think it was a simple "Hey, you're hot." moment. I for one have enjoyed the lack of a romance in this trilogy. Han and Leia worked. Anakin and Padme...yeah no. I wouldn't mind if Rey stays single.

Also something that has become popular in my generation is something called "shipping" (not to be confused with shipping and handling like I did

). Which is pairing your two or more favorite characters who you think should be romantically involved. Their are numerous "ships" for any one movie/fandom/etc. I don't care for it, but people get really invested into shipping people together.

Well the Padme and Anakin romance was creepy on purpose. She meets him when he’s 10 and she’s like 16 (dunno ages) plus the audience knows that this little kid / angsty teenager becomes the biggest intergalactic mobster villain, and that she dies somehow.
The prequel trilogy is pretty tragic, and the dramatic irony is woven throughout.
Oh and I really liked Han and Leia as well. I’m still making up my mind who’s a good match for Rey or if she’s better Solo B)
