Dogs of course, they can be trained to do things ( learning skills) and show self-sacrifice and compassion.

Not quite their own island. It's inhabited by humans, and it's a tourist attraction.

Apparently in Japan, cats are good luck. As opposed to us idiots in America who think black cats are bad luck.

I used to have a black cat long ago... dogs are better than cats...

I like both as long as the cat has humans trained and doesn't turn on them.
