Is Chivalry Dead?
We have friends from a different culture who live in a small house. They have family staying for a month, so someone has to sleep on the floor. The wife offered and husband didnt object
I mean c'mon, is this culture or is chivalry near dead?

The wife offered to sleep on the floor, but the husband didn't. Does that mean the husband is sleeping in the bed with someone else?
And, don't you have cots or blow up mattresses in south Australia?
Btw, in American culture, women sleep on the floor with the dogs. It's normal here. Every family does it.

The kids will sleep together in the top bunk, husband in the bottom bunk, wife on the floor probably in a sleeping bag? Not sure. In America, the floor IS the proper bed for a woman. You need to understand, in American culture, women are lower class. They can't vote, can't drive a car, can't be seen in public without their husband. But it's not as bad as it seems...we men let our women cook and clean for us. They tend to enjoy it.Nessa wrote:
