My town is small; my church is not 'big time;' I'm not 'big time.' We just preach the gospel with all our heart. :amen: This Easter the elders asked me to bring the message of Jesus' resurrection. What an honour.

Here it is. Enjoy.

It’s nice to see a G&S forum member...and to listen to his quaint accent from a faraway land.

We speak in a crystal-clear English accent, like President Obama’s. Kiwi is an easily understandable flavour of English. The most difficult accents to understand are (in ascending order of confusion) Strine (when spoken by Bogans), Cockney and Scottish.

I love the Irish accent. As for 'strine', I'll being hopping over the ditch to Brisbane next month, but the boguns are in Sydney. (Seedney) :esmile:

Bogans are only in Sydney? I thought most Australians were Bogans?

Why would anyone want to visit Brisbane? I knew a woman from Switzerland who visited Brisbane and she said the grass was stiff and there were bugs everywhere. Big bugs...

My grandma used to whack me over the back of my hand if I didn’t speak the queen’s English. So, I ended up with an accent all of my own. yB-)

Your grandmother was a wise woman. She may be partly responsible for your clear yet quaint accent. That you are interesting to listen to is your doing...or God’s.

In July last year, I followed up with this message. Nothing fancy - just the immeasurable love of God!
