I wish that news organizations would stop reporting this stuff. It's weird, but it's not news.

It's mostly conservative punditry, but Chris Wallace does some news. The tragedy is that every national network and local affiliate in the country, with the lone exception of PBS, will happily run a story like that.

Well, as far as whether it's healthy for a child beyond a certain age to keep breast-feeding: A) It's such an anomoly and exceptionally rare and random, and B) it's not a political issue, but one of child health and psychological adjustment / ongoing impact. It's interesting, but not anywhere near a society wide issue. It's website clickbait!

some societies use to go age 7, but they were stone age tribal ones.
