Nothing on Kavanaugh?

Inconsistencies emerge in Kavanaugh accusations

Kavanaugh accuser Christine Ford opens door to testifying next week

Brett Kavanaugh, wife and Christine Blasey Ford all receiving death threats

Democrat mocks Republican Senator over threats made against her

Soon someone will get hurt possibly die in this country...

Bill Clinton and old Ted Kennedy notorious for sexual offending with a long a proven track record. Working the field of criminal Justice with sex offenders - Kavanaiugh shows no repeat or abusive behavior like Bill Clinton and ol Teddy did.

That alone speaks volumes - this is the vilest form of character assassination by a amoral political party I have ever seen since the days of Clinton and the defense the Dem's put up against the women who were actually assaulted.

If the Dem succeed in this, it is only a matter of time they will go after any who dare question their RIGHT TO RULE!

Please spare this forum how both parties are evil - we have one Republican shot and wounded at a baseball game - Rand Paul's ribs broken by a neighbor, members of trumps staff openly harassed, Senate majority leader harassed, Democrats and Hollywood types calling for violence and harassment against Republicans and Conservatives and those who voted for trump as less than human .... Well, just a matter of time... matter of time...matter of time... till someones gets really hurt and things explode.

There are no mature adults on the Democrat side at all, just cultural Marxist, communist, and closet socialist...with a few cowards to intimated to put a stop to this nonsense,

BW: Bill Clinton and old Ted Kennedy notorious for sexual offending with a long a proven track record. Working the field of criminal Justice with sex offenders
Of course these two got away with murder because they were well-liked Democrats. Yeah, TONS of hypocrisy there. Hillary tried to destroy Bill's victims the second time - and why would she need to do that if they were merely lying? That Bill got caught abusing a young girl in the White House gives these women victims stories much familiarity and credibility.
BW: Kavanaiugh shows no repeat or abusive behavior like Bill Clinton and ol Teddy did.
No PROOF he did it the first time. But despite the Democratic strategists who don't give a damn about the accuser - only wanting to keep Kavanaugh off the court - it doesn't mean he's any more innocent OR guilty! Yes, the stories have considerable contradictions and inconsistencies, and the woman and her husband are hard-core Democrats who fear what Kavanaugh would mean for Roe vs. Wade and other issues they are passionately of the left - which is all the Democrats care about. And so the accuser's story is highly suspect. And so man women who have long know Kavanaugh have vouched for him. But could a drunken 17-year old have pawed a probably equally drunk girl - might not even remember it? Sure. MAYBE. Could she have wildly exagerated it due to her political views? Absolutely! And even if true, what does a stupid moment in a kid's life mean for who Kavanaugh is today? Not a bit! But that's not what this is about - that's not the agenda behind Democrats that have absolutely no idea whether the story is true or not!
BW: If the Dem succeed in this, it is only a matter of time they will go after any who dare question their RIGHT TO RULE!
The problem is people are deciding BOTH whether Kavanaugh is guilty (at least of some level of the story) or innocent based upon their politics. I don't believe he is not guilty because of my conservative views or hopes for the court, nor because of the sinister tactics of the left pushing "he's guilty" on us. Nor do I believe he's not guilty because her story seems to have major problems - although that makes me suspicious she's lying. Or highly exxagerating. I don't believe he's guilty because no one has remotely provided PROOF of it. And as I CAN'T know what might or might not have happened, for me it turns on what I can't know and what I do know. I can't know the truth of the accusation. I do see loads of vouching by women for his character. I see intense and desperate plotting from the left, at the last minute and over a potential conservative being added to the court. But I don't see any PROOF per the accusation. And to me, proof is how I decide such things. I have no reason to believe he's anything other than an admirable and capable judge.

Really, it does little good to get in a snit over the low-brow, last-minute tactics of the Democrats on this. Let's just hold people to what CAN be known beyond a reasonable doubt - which is, there is no proof to validate mere allegations - no matter their sinister or political motivations. Last I heard, we don't convict people in this country on hearsay or mere accusations. Even if he were guilty AND we still had NO proof - I'd still confirm him! Last I heard this evening, she would only testify if he goes first and no lawyers were allowed to question her? And so why would she expect such an important decision to be made with an investigation where experienced questioners were not allowed to cross-examine her? So, Republicans should not allow her or the Democrats to dictate the terms of questioning - especially as their hand and evidence is extremely poor. And if she doesn't appear by Monday, they should go ahead with the vote. Put up or shut up! And if she puts up nothing but "she said, which he denies" - they should confirm him!

Everything I've seen so far points to this being a last minute smear and delay campaign on the part of the Democrats against a moral person who has absolutely no history of assaulting, mistreating, or harassing women.

I do think it is appropriate for people in power to be held accountable for assaulting and harassing women (or boasting about assaulting women on a hot mic), but I think the smear campaign the Democrats have launched against Kavanaugh is deplorable.

"15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States." (The Naked Communist, by Cleon Skousen, 1958).

In 1963, Congressman Albert S. Herlog Jr. read into the Congressional Record a list of 45 Communist goals from FBI agent Cleon Skousen's 1958 book The Naked Communist.

Out of those 45 Communist goals, some of them are still in the works today against the West. As far as I'm concerned, the Communists took over a portion of 'both' U.S. political parties when the House Un-American Activities Committee went into decline because of the Left's smear against Joseph McCarthy.

Well, in essence, Joseph McCarthy was right...

https://www.theobjectivestandard.com/is ... -mccarthy/

https://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/do ... uthor-says

https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/ ... 52acbf5de/

So what we really have today is, the Republican party is more Left-Center with the Democratic party extreme Left. They are both actually working together according to Bill Clinton's Georgetown history professor in his 1966 book Tragedy and Hope. Quigley said the "establishment" (i.e., right-wing politics) often works with Communism, and has no problem doing so (Ibid., p.950). Because of the alignment of the Left's politics with Communist Socialism, there's no doubt Communism has already taken over that U.S. party like their long-range goals declared. Look closer and you'll see plenty of the "establishment" policies also aligning with the Left.

Communism has no 'morals'. It will do 'everything' and 'anything' to destroy, and achieve its goals. And that includes blackmail, and smearing one's credibility, especially when dealing with positions of power like a Supreme Court judge.

So many vastly underestimate the propensity of desperate people to lie in order to achieve their goals. And when people insist truth should be tried via emotion, hysteria and politics, instead of facts - well, that's how many people today have begun to think. Sadly.

CNN (who cannot be accused of being remotely sympathetic towards Kavanaugh) has the following article regarding the ongoing Judiciary Committee investigation into the accusations against Kavanaugh.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/22/politics ... index.html
White House spokesperson Kerri Kupec said of those who allegedly attended the party, "One week ago, Dr. Christine Ford claimed she was assaulted at a house party attended by four others. Since then, all four of these individuals have provided statements to the Senate Judiciary Committee denying any knowledge of the incident or even having attended such a party."

This is why we have due process, why one MUST be considered innocent until proven guilty and why mere allegations, no matter how emotional or credible are NOT enough.
What have a case here of two people with conflicting accounts and no reason to believe one MORE credible than they other ( it boils down to that when all we have is allegations and no collaborating witnesses or evidence).
This would NOT work in a court of Law and MUST NOT work anywhere else. One can NOT be allowed to destroy the life of another simply based on allegations, period.

Due process doesn't factor into it. This isn't a trial, it's a job interview. Credible allegations are absolutely enough reason to decline to hire an applicant. Also, there are apparently four women making similar claims, not just one. And comments in his yearbook paint him as a party boy at a party school. There's no evident fire just yet, but there's a lot of smoke there.

Incidentally, the recent allegations of sexual impropriety have overshadowed questions about his finances (and therefore his independence from outside influence) and his supposed ignorance of the fact that his mentor his mentor, Alex Kozinski, had a decades-long history of inappropriate sexual behavior in and around the workplace. Again, no fires evident, but that's a lot of smoke.

It makes me think of something that happened in my home town, back when I was a kid. I grew up in a town of 10,000 people. It was about an hour north of Boston, right on the highway. That made is convenient for people from Mass to come up and frequent our local businesses. One of those businesses was a brothel. Everybody knew about it. It was a source of fascinated amusement around the middle school and a dare at the high school. My uncles cracked jokes about it at family gatherings, as did my friends fathers'. Literally everyone in town knew about it, apart from the Chief of Police. The DEA and FBI busted the place when I was in college, and man were the local cops ever shocked and dismayed to discover that a brothel had been operating under their very noses for more than 20 years. Some folks (actually everyone) thought (actually knew) they were maybe a bit too shocked (and clearly lying). I suspect that there's some of that going on in some of Kavanaugh's denials.

Anyway, maybe the GOP should cut their losses, use this supposed injustice to fire up their base, and pick some other conservative judge for the spot.

It is becoming obvious that the Democratic smear campaign has succeeded in destroying Kavanaugh's reputation.

The question then becomes... should the Republicans allow a Democratic smear campaign to succeed in preventing an honorable and qualified person from becoming a Supreme Court Justice?

Allowing a smear campaign with no corroborating evidence to actually succeed would set a horrible precedent for the future.

I have voiced my disgust with Republican politicians who embrace and run interference for a dishonest and corrupt President. But the Democratic smear campaign against Kavanaugh has demonstrated that Republicans aren't the only deplorable politicians in Washington.

Fact is, Feinstein had this accuser's letter for two months and she waited until the last minute. She could easily have had this quietly investigated and saved this woman the spectacle and trauma of testifying. And then either she or one of her staff leaked it - and she laughably tried to pawn it off on the press. They don't give a hoot about this lady! And what the heck are they going to investigate? - the accuser doesn't even know for sure what year or month this supposedly occurred, the location, who's house - she can't get one person to corroborate it. Her own parents refused to sign the letter supporting her. Her therapist's notes say there were four in the room, and now she says only two were. The four people she identified as being there - one a very close friend - all deny even remembering such a party. Those same notes assert she was in her late teens, but now she says she could have been as young as 15. She's a passionate Democrat and has marched against Trump. Is it any wonder that the questioning attorney - a very experienced victim's advocate - says she sees absolutely no case. It's full of holes!

If I thought we had examinable proof, eyewitness testimony, or significant circumstantial evidence of attempted rape, I'd no more want Kavanaugh on the court than Democrats do - I mean, there are many other good conservative candidates. But I treat NO examinable evidence and only an emotional accusations from one with motivation to lie as what it is. NO court or juror should ever vote against someone in such a circumstance. How pathetic that Democrats delayed, leaked, built an emotional army, and has U.S. senators pouring over a 36-year-old high school annual of a then-17-year-old for some supposed nefarious clues. Because if this tactic works, anyone could lie about the most saintly amongst us and have it ruin them. Anyone who believes in rule of law, fair process, and presumption of innocence before being proven guilty, should see how terrible this has been. Let's not forget the judge has been a distinguished judge and has many, many women WHO KNOW HIM PERSONALLY and have for many years, have vouched for him. And even her own parents won't do that. Wow!

The Democrats have now stooped so low as to adapt old Soviet / KGB tactics: Tell a lie often enough and long enough, and eventually people consider it the truth!

The timing of the letter was obviously political - the Democrats are Swift Boating Kavanaugh, and it's no more accidental than it was when Bush Swift Boated Kerry. That's politics. As far as the Dems not caring about Ford, I don't buy that reasoning. If I was Ford I'd be pretty angry, so I'd be entirely happy to reserve my accusation until the most politically damaging moment possible. She's a grown, educated woman. I'm sure she's capable of thinking tactically.

None of that, though, casts doubt on her testimony. If it's true then she's entitled to air her grievances whenever she damned well pleases. She's also not the only woman airing grievances, the only accuser willing to testify before Congress, or the only person portraying young Brett Kavanaugh as a hard partying, entitled, rich boy with a penchant for unwanted, aggressive sexual advances. They could all be lying, just like Trump's 14 accusers could all be lying, but that seems unlikely to me. Ford's testimony was convincing enough that Republican Senators Flake, Murkowski, and Collins, as well as the American Bar Association and a great many others have called for an FBI investigation to be conducted before moving forward.

If this whole thing is a giant conspiracy and the Dems can just trot out a bunch of well-spoken, female professionals to accuse successful Republicans of sexual assault then why didn't they do it back when Neil Gorsuch was being confirmed? It's a pretty good bet that they were even angrier then, watching the GOP jam a hard right conservative through to take the seat that, by law, precedent, and tradition, should have been Obama's to fill. What's so special about Kavanaugh...?

My guess is that Kavanaugh is getting this treatment because the accusations are largely true, but none of it came out earlier because the GOP figured they could just jam him through regardless of opposition and they half-assed the vetting process. Now they're caught flat-footed, discovering stuff they should have known before they nominated him. It wouldn't be the first time this Administration blew off their responsibility to vet a nominee and ended up looking sloppy and unprepared.

You should know that the Democratic Party is trying to make a deal with President Donald Trump that they will drop this against Kavanaugh if President Trump does not declassify the FISA abuse documents. President Trump told them no Kavanaugh will be confirmed anyway. So they are going to try to delay, delay, delay and even try to impeach Kavanaugh but in the end it won't work.We are talking massive protests, etc over it.Get ready for a fight that the Democrats will lose ultimately lose but things are going to get even nastier.

But do you see how the Democrats fight for what they want? I want Republicans to fight this hard and I've wanted to see it for years and yet the Democrats always found a way to win.

Fortunately, the Democrats do not have the power they once did to propagandize society anymore with the MSM but look at how they fight for what they want.
