Do intentionally childless people violate this commandment?

Give it to me straight.

Wasn't that given to Adam and Eve? :) Also, WWJD? :P

What if your swimmers can't get the job done?

Anyway, I've done my contribution to world population - two is aplenty.

But there's a guy at church who is probably about 40 - he and his wife have produced five kids. I don't know of anyone else my age or younger who has more than three - DO YOU GUYS know of anyone with five or more? When I was a kid, three children was the norm, and four wasn't uncommon. My parents had five (which is insane!).

My wife tells me she looks after five kids, but we've only had four so I don't know what she's on about.

Anyway, looks like white people haven't been doing their contribution - maybe God's allotted time for palefaces is about done?

It's nice when a woman knows her place.

My wife comes from a catholic family.

She's the youngest of 6.

And her dad had 10 siblings.

To be fair, can you imagine the theological problems that would arise if Jesus had children?

Catholic birth control of the past: Have so many hungry kids at the table that, when supper's meager portions are finally served, occasionally one of the smaller ones gets eaten in the ensuing feeding frenzy! :P

My Catholic FIL was raised in just such a family. First time I met him, we went to a very nice tablecloth-type restaurant. The server plopped down his meal and by the time everyone was served, FIL's plate was empty. I was in shock at how anyone could eat so fast. I think his family invented that phrase, "He who hesitates is lost!"

But that’s from the OT not NT meaning we don’t have to follow it. I mean not everyone can have children due to many reason. We aren’t saved by works but by Jesus
