- oh and I have a logical argument you have not included, which I have not yet found a good counterargument for. It is quite banal, so you probably have something:

Can god create a rock he cannot by any means move?
if no, then he is not almighty.
If yes, then he is not almighty.

Ergo god cannot be almighty. Can he then be a god?

Sincerely,
Peter
Can God create a rock he cannot by any means move?

Isaiah 33:19-22, "You will see no more the insolent people, the people of an obscure speech that you cannot comprehend, stammering in a tongue that you cannot understand. 20 Behold Zion, the city of our appointed feasts! Your eyes will see Jerusalem, an untroubled habitation, an immovable tent, whose stakes will never be plucked up, nor will any of its cords be broken. 21 But there the LORD in majesty will be for us a place of broad rivers and streams, where no galley with oars can go, nor majestic ship can pass. 22 For the LORD is our judge; the LORD is our lawgiver; the LORD is our king; he will save us."

Revelations 21:1-5, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful..."

Answer - you decide...

If God wants to make something immovable - God can

We cannot create out of nothing - He can

We cannot control the future - God can

We can not be all powerful; however, He is so

We are not...

Which side do you, the reader, desire to reside - those with insolent speech or God who changes not and remains that very unmovable Rock of stability?

Deu 32:4, "The LORD is a mighty rock, and he never does wrong. God can always be trusted to bring justice." CEV

Psa 18:31, "You alone are God! Only you are a mighty rock." CEV

2 Sa 22:47 "The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be my God, the rock of my salvation..." ESV

I am thankful that Christ made the Rock of our salvation secure...

You or I cannot not make things that unmovable and secure!
