Lilith

I was originally googling the topic of "Lilith" after hearing about it being on the History Channel ( only one of many antichristian things on that channel). I came upon this website and after reading the paragraphs about Genesis, I decided to share it; I am completely baffled that anyone in existence believes anything stated on this website. Just want to know what you think about it and how you feel about this "Lilith" story. I stopped reading when I got to the part that said she seduced Yahweh. Impossible and IMO, gross.

Do any of you believe the story about Lilith? ( I don't )

This story about Lilith comes from a Gnostic source and secret cultic knowledge writings and after reading it, (I have it as a research tool) is so out in left field - the errors are just to plain to see.

It was often used to justify a divorce mindset in men to justify finding their new Eve if their prior wife became a Lilith... so goes the moral of the story in a nutshell...

Another angle: I believe that when we run a thought or imagination through our brains or minds we in a sense make it real to us. This may pollute us and bring some negative effects by sticking to our memories and affecting our perceptions in the future. Thus you will find lots of "theories" or "hypotheses" out there laid bare to be explored... but the truth is that you cannot just observe or try them without being affected. Thus we need to be watchful what we take into our minds (remember? - "we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" (2 Co 10:5)) so that we are not contaminating ourselves. You will probably have some resistance to touch somebody's skin affected by a contagious disease, why you are not feeling the same resistance and repulsion if somebody wants you to feed something not aligned with the Christ into your mind and heart? Sorry for a vivid metaphor, but it is serious. People who watch porn, brutal films, and other stuff belonging to this category condition their minds and spread dirt in the templates they are responsible to keep clean. Cheers
