Well, part of me HOPES it is just ignorance.
The other part fears that it is something far more disturbing than that.

Oh dear...
Danny, I lol'd when I read your response. I read it in your British accent. I pictured the geico lizard say "Oh dear" in his British accent. :pound:
I'm not sure if you're familiar with him in England, but he's famous here. Listen to the commercial, especially the end..

All circular logic believe infinity and infinite regress. I don't play those games. I point it out immediately to whoever I'm discussing it with. I came up with argument to disprove it.

If infinity exists and infinite regress exists, all things cannot be explained
Most things could be explained
Therefore, infinity and infinite regress does not exist.

Ok, another across-the-pond reference I'm missing. What's OASIS?

The 'Rock' band OASIS? They said they were going to 'crack' America, be bigger than the Beatles (who were massively overrated, in my opinion). But Noel and Liam didn't crack America like they thought they would... :)

This thread is still well and truly live, lest anyone think mine and Rick's chat means the thread is done!

Their album Definitely, Maybe was pure class in my opinion, but it went down hill from there...

Hey, we agree ALOT these days. And yes, they were the most overhyped band in the history of music. [NOT SORRY FOR SAYING IT] :)

Hey, we agree ALOT these days
Maybe that's because we're both being transformed to the image of Christ. ;)
Now, back to our regularly scheduled thread, already in progress.

Perhaps, it may also be the case that when we LOOK for something we tend to find it, even if it is NOT there.
Reading the bible LOOKING for proof of a "tyranical God" one will most indeed find that proof, even if it isn't there.

Oh yeah, sure :)

But the Beatles were the 'darlings' of the world, when all they produced was psychedelic drivel, which, when stripped down, was utterly meaningless. IMHTGO, of course ;)

Indeed. Do you think they ever look for a non-tyrannical, good God in the Bible?
