"One of" what?
"My actions prove that God takes care of idiots."

He occasionally stumbled over the truth, but hastily picked himself up and hurried on as if nothing had happened.
- On Stanley Baldwin

-Winston Churchill

An atheist can't find God for the same reason a criminal can't find a police officer.

You need to start asking out girls so that you can get used to the rejections.

Well, it should be a good movie. I've read the books and they're so full of mindblowing things. Heck, the screenwriters could be braindead and the movie would be good, they don't have to think much, just quote the book and read to the events in it. It sounds like a hit. I just thought it would be out LAST CHRISTMAS when I saw advertising for it in the fall!

Why did I think Peter Jackson has something to do with the films?

I'm happy to see the Narnia series being redone for the new generation, but...what does Narnia have to do with Lovecraft? I don't remember the Chronicles of Narnia resembling the Cthulhu mythos much at all.

I did not expect to see anyone here who had actually read Lovecraft. I read all of his work back in the early sixties when I was into SF and horror stuff. In the proper setting he could be really eerie. I also was curious about the connection.
