OK, how about the FIFTH Stooge (at any rate, BO's not as smart as ANY of the Stooges - even Shemp!).

And don't give me any flak about Joe Besser, Curly Joe DeRita, or anyone associated with Iggy Pop!

Notice that Iggy copied Moe's look!

Being required from kindergarten to 13th grade (Yes! there is such a thing there as grade 13.) to learn French, because there are two official languages in Canada, was a good thing. I wish there was more emphasis at an early stage on learning languages in USA.
Huh? what were you doing in Ottawa? (Now I understand why you're so smart!) :ewink:

Oh I'm suddenly smart am I..... ha ha I was born in USA, lived in Ottawa for ten years of childhood. Dual citizen. No family there any more.
Just noticed that Senator McCain looks like the middle stooge.....(not a political observation.)

Oh...you are one of us! Normally, I don't like Canadians but I'll make an exception for you because you're a hybrid. Hybrids are nice: Toyota Prius, McLaren P1 and so on.

FL,

Isn't your wife Canadian?

Well...in fact, yes. But Canada is a divided country, divided along linguistic lines. When I say ''Canadian'' I usually mean the creatures that exist outside of French Canada's cultural world. People like, uh...Mayor Rob Ford, singer Justin Beiber and moderator Paul Sacramento, for example.

So, while my wife and I have Canadian passports and are citizens of Canada, we have no emotional allegiance to it. No patriotism. We are citizens of circumstance and of convienience. This is probably difficult for an American to understand because you guys are so patriotic.

Remember Rene Levesque of the Parti Quebecois. Do you hope Quebec will separate from the rest of Canada one day?

My wife does. I don't care because the resulting country would be a North American version of Sweden; I'm no fan of socialism. In any event, I doubt secession will happen. French Canada has a somewhat schizoïd relationship with Canada. It is like a bad marriage where both partners have learned to tolerate each other, and there is a certain comfort associated with keeping the marriage...static.

And the sad part about the people in that video, is that they all were allowed to vote. And I bet you can guess who got their vote for President.

Your country really is an enigma. You seem to occupy the extremes of everything.

It seems here in Slovakia that current government would like all people being dumb. You know, then you can easily govern to such group. Populism have won them election. They are event so arrogant to say (it's on youtube) "Win the election and you can do everything".

Mainly old people vote Fico and his party. Today is election for cities and their majors snd ehat Fico did? Trains for free for students and old people starting coming Tuesday.

Old people do not have internet. They only watch national channel and guess whether corrupted or not.

Sad.

And whatever government was here, we Slovaks say: They stole us 17 November. Day of great demonstrations. Day when communism fell.

Our grand parents built this country and now everything is stole by corrupted corporations and government.
They stole us our country. They stole us 17 November.

Last week there were demonstrations because it was revealed that government was stealing even from people who suffer bad health. Enormously expensive CT machines and all. And what Paska said? "Win the government and you can do everything."

There is a great rise of disgust (again). Slovaks start to call for a system change. Not democracy but direct democracy.
I wonder if we ever win our country back.

:(
