Is this a reference to a thought game?

Someone please delete this thread. I don't want to associate GnS with the Game, lest I lose more than I already do . . . :(

fdit: I got a random text from my mother the other day that said, "Your brother just made me lose the game." :x :shakehead:

And that, brothers and sisters, is the kind of foolishness you get people who insist on denying biblical theism. A good illustration of any as the length people will go to avoid acknowledging basic truths.

There are three rules.

Rule 1: You are playing The Game.

Rule 2: Whenever you think about The Game, you lose.

Rule 3: Loss must be announced.

More here

I've heard that the game will be over when someone very important like king, queen, president, prime minister etc announces the game.

I don't really get it myself

okay, it is the game that my students have been talking about.

It plays upon the "don't think about pink elephants" psyche....once you say it you can't not think it.
