So I'll be back Thursday

Post by Jac3510 »

Just letting you guys know that in eight hours I'll be leaving for Alabama for four days--I'll be back Thursday evening. I'm going to play in the praise band for a childrens camp ("WINGwing" is its name), so I would appreciate it if you could say a brief prayer for us, the counselors, and especially the kids.

This will be the second one I've attended. The first time, I have to be honest and admit that I went just because I wanted to play guitar with a band . I had the idea that it was basically going to be a four day baby-sitting job, my part being playing music for them. BUT, I was shocked to find out that I was more blessed than any of them. You get one hundred six to ten year olds praying to God, I mean REALLY praying to God, and you find out just how real He is. They pray with absolutely no inhibitions. They believe in Him more than we do sometimes, I think . . .

Anyway, I'm just sort of rambling now. I'll be back in a few days. Me and my Schecter Devil Tribal Series guitar (her name is Sarah, haha), Fender Twin 100-watt tube amp, BOSS Blues Driver, and BOSS Flanger are going to jam for the week with the kids. 8)

God bless!

And that, brothers and sisters, is the kind of foolishness you get people who insist on denying biblical theism. A good illustration of any as the length people will go to avoid acknowledging basic truths.

In other news, I'm trying to figure out the geographical location of the garden of Eden and see if I can find it. Yeah...

I made it back :)

I just want to say that these WINGwing camps are some of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. And, for what it's worth, the band absolutely ROCKED 8)

But, more importantly, MM, did you crack the mystery yet?!?!?

fakeedit: I have a lot to read/reply to . . .

I have come to the conclusion that Eden was not on Earth and I will mount an expedition to try to find the gateway that leads there...

What if you mistake the gateway to hell for the one to Eden? :P

In that case, I have a feeling Satan will have a really bad day when me and my friends walking with consecrated chainguns and start spreading divine justice ;)
