Sadly, a lot of Messianic Jews tend to at some point, to use Jac's words, backload the Law back into the picture.
I'm not saying these guys do, I haven't read up about them, but I've known several Christians that gravitated towards Jewish Christianity and end up confusing themselves all over rituals and the Law.
Re: the prophecies, foreshadows and the like, such for me create some of the strongest positive reasons for considering Scripture inspired.
