Who Is "Winning" The War On Origins Of Life?

Just curious but who do you think is winning, evolutionists or creationists? Also is creation a real science compared to evolution? I also have to ask, are we defending our faith too much by saying God did it whenever something comes up, for example, if evolution is PROVED true, we say it is from God or if there is life on Mars it is from God. It seems us Christians are trying to defend our faith as much as possible and say EVERYTHING is from God. What is going to come out as truth?

everything IS from god, no question about it. every event in the universe connected to god, regardless how god is defined by different religons
