Praise the Lord! A newborn to be raised with Christ

My firstborn Alexandra Genesis was born on December 15 @ 0851
She was born 3 lbs, 8 ounces and 15.5" long.

Her first week of life so far has been in the hospital taking care of her apnea. She has now been able to breathe on her own, and now their are working on her feeding and body temperature before she is sent home.

It is difficult to have a child that still needs care, but we have faith the Lord will have hand in her health. It is difficult to put into words the happiness she brings in our lives.

Thank you Lord for everything in our lives. You are so amazing. Me and my household, we will serve the Lord!

Congratulations Dom. Sorry that you're having this joy tempered with the medical needs but thank God they are there and can contribute toward preserving the health and well-being of your precious child.

Thank you all for the prayers.

She is doing well. Still in the intensive care unit, but she's progressed so much.
No more IV, no more heated bed.

She still has the feeding tube in the nostril. The last step we have before my wife and I bring her home is feeding. We want to make sure she is strong enough to feed without getting too tired and miserable. Again, thank you all for the prayers. Its very comforting.

Thank guys. An update. My daughter is home now. Eating and doing well. Gave me a scare last night. Couldn't get her to stop crying. She wanted mommy really bad or bad dream. Got her to calm down tho. All is well tho. We're going to enjoy holding her while she wants to be held.
