Definition of a Veteran. A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including his life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

I'm not surprised at her remark, though; to me it just seems kind-of ignorant after reading the rest of the article. I didn't know that so many baby Jesus' were being stolen (and vandalized in the manner they are). It's really sad, and it's amazing that people keep putting them out. I'm glad they do, but it's still amazing.
