That is not what will happen, Ark. Two and a half years ago I received a pamphlet on the real people trying to rebuild the temple, and on the Temple Mount just like the End Times temple is supposed to be. It's at home, and I'm not, (dogsitting up north for the weekend,) so I can't share it now. I should scan it for you all. Very interesting. Now that sent chills down my spine! This site you found is garbage, sorry! I'll scan it in, but I'd like to share now that they actually have all of the material needed already! Mind-boggling, but the time will come soon enough for them to be used, I believe.

my youth paster gets a monthy jewish news paper, and it had an article about that. they already have all the material, and they are practicing all the old rituals to get it right, and are makeing the plans for the new one.
Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7

it is all about submitting before God, then, and only then, will we have the promise given in Luke 10:19

They've started the sacrifices again??? Already? Or is it unofficial practice? Sounds like the same group I got the pamphlet on though.

And what was it about the starting up again of the sacrifices in the Bible? I forgot what it said about that.

It is unlikely that the temple will ever be rebuilt again, but even if it does, so what?

I used to know the significance of when they started them again, but they are supposed to start up again for the End Times, and the Temple is supposed to be rebuilt for it too. The outter court is supposed to be trampled on by Gentiles, (probably the Muslims,) and the Antichrist is supposed to descecrate it with the "desecration of abomination", or whatever it was called again. I used to know this stuff backwards and forwards!

Heard once that the Temple Mount is supposed to be shared by the Muslims and Jews, and that the temple is supposed to be connected to the Dome of the Rock. Equal sharing of the Mount or something.

The main significance is that it means the End Times is closer.

Interesting, had a divine dream last night that Jesus told me the end time is near and this is the second time, I was told this in my sleep and also conscious! Is any of this stuff being rebuilt biblical? Because I thought all nations would hear about Jesus and other stuff and then the end would come.

Yes, it's biblical. The sacrificial system is to start again and the temple is to be rebuilt. The peace treaty instigated by the Antichrist between Israel and the surrounding nations is the signal for the start of the seven years of Tribulation. Not sure where the verses are, but once I get home I can look it up with my references. But yes, there are other signs. Lots of them, in fact. We have a pretty darn good picture of what things are supposed to look like before the End Times start! Can only know that now that we understand what computer chips and motor vehicles are, though!

I'd like to hear more about your dreams, Brian. I had one that I took for divine years ago that I still can't make sense of.

In it I was someplace, but was being shown a vision by a male voice. In the vision I could see the earth and it's curve, and pine trees were on it and very tall. It was more of a concept vision than an accurate one. Among the pine trees were men that all looked exactly alike. They wore rough clothing made from something like wool, and it was all in blacks and greys. They were older, had grey hair and grey medium length beards. I believe they had top hats on made of the wool-looking material too. Kind of old fashioned looking clothes, but very simple. I had the impression that they were wise and godly. They were as tall as the pine trees, if not a little taller because of their hats. The voice told me as I was looking at this that, "The End will come when the men become as tall as the trees."

I was startled when I woke up, took it for a divine dream of a divine vision, and burned it into my memory. Wrote it in my journal too and of the divine impression I felt it had. Can only as of yet guess the meaning. Now, I know that trees can symbolize maturity, (huh, and they were Evergreens too. Wonder if that had significance as well,) and I've always thought of trees when thinking of my own spiritual growth.

My only guess is that it meant that just before the Rapture Christians will be quite spiritually mature. Once, though, I got caught up in the idea of them being giants because of the muscle-growth pills they're working on, and something about the giants mentioned in the Bible. But that was a stupid thought. Then I thought that maybe I had the dream because of my future with the spiritual gift of teaching. Just not sure, but certainly still curious.

What's your dreams like Brian?

As usual, I don't see any scripture references in this thread.

There will never be a return to animal sacrifices. Jesus has finished the work.

Wait what? Don't you guys know what this means? If i'm not mistaken, the temple is where the anti-christ sets up the "abomination of desolation"? Thats a pretty big event and the building of this temple seems significant to me...

From a preterist point of view I don't see how it's significant. But again most people buy into that dispensationalist crap nowadays. But it's interesting.
